Sandra Comrie, Executive Director, has nationwide accountability for RSG’s consulting practice areas of strategic planning, organization design, position classification, performance management and board governance effectiveness.
Before joining the RSG executive team, Ms. Comrie was the Chief Operating Officer for Treacy & Rhodes Consultants, Inc., a nationally recognized corporate health care and employee benefits consulting firm. Ms. Comrie was recruited into Treacy & Rhodes from the top human resources executive position in Transamerica Life Companies, where she developed, implemented and managed a full spectrum of HR programs/ processes for 5,500 employees. Before joining Transamerica, she was with the City of Los Angeles for 22 years, the final seven as Assistant General Manager–Personnel.
Ms. Comrie is a 1962 graduate of the University of California – Los Angeles, and later completed UCLA’s Anderson Business School Executive Program. She has served as President-elect and President of the International Personnel Management Association, providing distinguished leadership of this professional organization. Ms. Comrie has also served on a number of nonprofit boards of directors, including the Los Angeles Urban League and the Foundation for Employment and Disability.She has published several articles on effective human resources management practices, and is the co-author of two books.
